Bonnie Evelyn Irby, 96, of Fort Scott, passed away Thursday evening, January 3, 2019 at her home. She was born February 19, 1922, in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Nathan W. and Laura Rachel (Beaty) Stanley. She married A. C. Irby October 15, 1966, in Fort Scott, Kansas, and he preceded her in death May 12, 1986.
Bonnie is survived by her son, Steven Keith Irby and wife Kim, of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; a sister, Norma Ewing, of Topeka, Kansas; two grandsons, Nathan Irby and his wife Liezel, and Dalton Irby; a great-granddaughter, Emma Irby, and two nieces, Linda Lungstrum, of Lawrence, Kansas, and Louise poehlman, of Tucson, Arizona. In addition to her husband, Bonnie was also preceded in death by her parents, a son, Michael Irby, and a sister, Rosalie Stanley.
