Aunt Phyllis JK Mike and PW so sorry for your loss. He was for sure a motivated and accomplished man that could share a joke, and an Uncle all kids should have. May God bless you and keep you close during this time of sorrow. Regards, Tom and Debbie

Sending our most sincere sympathy to each of you as you mourn your beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather's passing. I am sure your hearts are saddened but hold your special memories close and know that he is just away for now, guiding your steps and holding a spot at his side until you can all meet again.

I first met Claude back in 1975 when we first bought our home at 742 South National. He came for a walk through with that cigar skillfully clenched on the side of his mouth and started the plan to put central heat and air in this then 99-year-old house! He told me one of his summer jobs as a teenager was to come to the Eshelbrenner house and empty the rain barrel sitting in the back hall of our second floor. He was proud we were getting a new roof and proceeded to build and maneuver miles of duct work in a very old brick house. Claude and his family made us feel very welcome to Fort Scott. An icon.
