Gary was not only a good friend, father, husband and to all those that knew him, and he was one of my Vietnam Veterans that I served with at the 95th Evacuation Hospital in Da Nang, South Vietnam. Gary was dedicated to Veterans and attended a few of our reunions we had over the years. Gary would call me every few months to check on me and make sure we were all OK. I am going to miss our phone calls and my friend I knew for many years. Gary loved music, singing, and song writing and was a very talented musician. We never got a chance to play music together is my only disappointment in our relationship. Rest in peace my friend your presence in my life has made me a better person. On behalf of the entire Alumni of the 95thEvacuation Hospital Veterans, all 576 of us want to say, you did well in your service to wounded soldiers in Vietnam, and as a Nurse in the United States, your served well, you can be proud my fellow Veteran. Until later ( Go rest high on that Mountain ) my friend. Our Best to your entire family. God Bless you all. Terry Caskey and 95th Evacuation Hospital Vietnam Veterans.

Gary was a great friend and fellow medic at the 95th Evac. Hospital in Danang, Vietnam. He was also a great Country music songwriter and performer. Gary loved the 95th Evac and penned a song for us at our reunion in Nashville. Carolyn and I offer our love and prayers for Debbie and the family members. Gary was a blessing to us all. Until we meet again my friend.
