My name is Krista Stone. Hazel's father John Stone (1877-1964) was brother to my grandfather Charles O. Stone (1884-1927). His son was my father. I met Hazel when I was very little and my father brought me to Uniontown. I only wish I had the opportunity to visit with her as I grew older. It sounds as if we had much in common. If any family member happens to read this, would you please reach out to me at my email address ([email protected]). I would love to learn more about family history. Dear Cousin Hazel, I am sure we will meet in Heaven. In the meantime, I will visit Uniontown again one day, and will think you as I walk around the sidewalk that borders the park in the center of town.

I knew Hazel in her later years, she was a lovely woman, and really had a sense of humor, we shared more than a few laughs. I am sorry I missed her funeral, I didn't know until after. She is home now and at piece. Thank you Hazel for time spent with me!!!

God Bless Grandma! I am so thankful that she is with our Lord now and doing all of those things that she enjoyed doing before. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Alice and family! Wish we could be there to help celebrate her life. God Bless!

Grandma Hazel will be greatly missed. She was such a loving person and would make beautiful quilts and things for family, friends, and people in need. We were so blessed to have her in our lives. Our love goes out to Aunt Alice and family. She will be forever in our hearts until we meet again.

Cousin Hazel had so many talents. Her faith & love touched many people in & near Bourbon county, Kansas. Even when she could not see, we enjoyed visiting with her. God bless all her family. Dean & Karla Stevens
