To the family of Jackie Hill-Hardy.. I am writing on behalf of my mom Kathleen Colum, a dear friend of your mom. She probably would not think of doing this as she is not very computer saavy so I want to write this on her behalf. I reside in California, so when she shared with me about your mom's going home.. I was first sad for my mother because of the recent passing of her sister, and now her good friend Jackie whom she spoke of often about her visits with her as well. As our parents age, they don't get an opportunity to become close with many people besides us, their children and a mate. Jackie was one of the first members at church that my mom met upon returning to Fort Scott and my dad Roy Colum, says he grew up with her. From the feedback I received your mom was a very sweet lady. So please accept our condolences and our prayers during this difficult time..Have a safe return home.. A

Jackie was such a great lady. She was quiet, so kind and had a ready smile. Anything that was done for her was answered with a sincere "Thank you." She will be missed!

Dear Jerry and Lawrence, Terry and I are sorry that we cannot be there with you and Jerry for your mother's services. I certainly have many fond memories of her, including our last visit with her at Medicalodges. We know that you have many more fond memories of her. We pray that the Holy Spirit will bring them to your minds to comfort you. Remember that love is everlasting. With love, Sharon Hardiman Jennings
