Thorene! I think of you so often when I am walking. So many good memories of visiting with you and Kale. He was a very special man. I remember him always taking the time to take Amy back and show her the horses in the stable behind your house on Socora. She remembered him immediately when I told her of his passing. I am so glad that you found each other and had such a wonderful 74 years together. I wish I could come to the funeral tomorrow, but I have both my grandchildren here doing homeschool. Scarlett is in 1st grade so I help her a lot. My grandson is in 8th grade. I retired in June of last year after 37 years teaching, but with Covid, ended up guiding my grandkids at home this whole year. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you tomorrow and In the coming weeks. Remember to take care of yourself and hold onto your wonderful memories with Kale.

Rest Kale, until you hear at dawn, the low, clear reveille of God. Thank you for your service to this nation. U.S. Army, and U.S. Army reserves.
