Leroy Sackett

July 14, 1936 - March 18, 2016

Clarence Leroy Sackett, 79, of Fort Scott, passed away early Friday morning, March 18, 2016. He was born July 14, 1936 in Bourbon County, Kansas the son of Clarence Barton and Mary Jane (Crystal) Sackett.

 

Leroy is survived by three brothers, Bill Sackett of Rocky Ford, Colorado, George Sackett of Olathe, Kansas, and Kenneth Sackett of Benton, Kansas; and four sisters, Dorothy Todd of Fort Scott, Bonnie Sue Reid of Topeka, Kansas, Fran Brillhart of Tampa, Florida, and Larrence Henningsen of Fort Scott. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Pansy Hill and Betty Sackett.

 

Bob Reid will conduct graveside services for Leroy at 3:00 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2016 at the Pleasant View Cemetery under the direction of the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home. Friends and family will meet at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. and leave for the cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Tri-Valley Developmental Services and left in the care of the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home, PO Box 309, Fort Scott, Kansas, 66701.
