Mary Lou was an inspiration through her many losses. Her faith and positive attitude always showed. We will miss her writing in the class letter. To her family I send prayers. Norma Stockebrand Wimmer - a 1945 classmate.

I played bridge with Mary Lou on Monday, June 13 at the Methodist Church. We were partners on the last six hands of the day. Our partnership had an incredible run of cards, producing games on each hand, including one small slam. We actually finished a little early and suggested one more hand but our opponents informed us they had all the fun they could stand. Mary Lou also taught me something on bidding that day. It was my last and very pleasant memory of a nice lady.

My thoughts and prayers are with all the family. She was a very sweet lady who always had a smile and a kind word. May all of your precious memories help to ease your pain now and in the coming days.

She was such a dear, sweet lady. She was funny and sharp. She was involved in so many things and was fun to be around. She always had a funny story to tell and some wisdom to share.

The class of 1945 has lost a very dear friend. Mary Lou was loved by all--a great gal. She was always interested in helping with all class reunions and was very generous with her time and talent. We will miss you dear friend. Go with God Mary Lou.

I knew Mary Lou through my marriage to Dennis and Kaye Hardy's daughter Maggie. I appreciated the time I got to spend with Mary Lou and Bill. Though my path in life took me in another direction, I never forgot the two of them.
