Sonya Jackson, 44, of Fort Scott, died Saturday, November 7, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.

Sonya Renee` Jackson, 44, of Fort Scott, died Saturday, November 7, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.  She was born June 30, 1971 in Anchorage, Alaska the daughter of Johnny O. and Christina (Meckem) Vess. She married Shon Michael Jackson July 1, 1992 in Bullhead City, Arizona and he survives of the home.

 

In addition to her husband, Sonya is survived by her daughters, Brittney Jackson, and Morgan Jackson, both of Fort Scott; a brother, Nicholas Vess, of Phoenix, Arizona; and two grandchildren, Leon Cruz, and Jax Knight. She was preceded in death by her parents.

 

Following cremation, Pastor Larry Stevicks will conduct memorial services 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 20, 2015 at the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home.
