Tammy was such a ray of sunshine in everone's day. I met Tammy in 1996 when we played volleyball together. I was always so impressed by how she bounced back from all challenges. The car accident that would have left many defeated and feeling sorry for themselves made her work hard and she came back even stronger. She lived life to the fullest. Her courage and ever-present smile will be remembered by all she knew. Rest in Peace sweet friend.

Tammy was full of life and made everyone feel like they were important. She was a loving child, mother and grandmother, she made a great effort to make time for all of her family and friends, She would drive to Fort Scott to spend time with her grandmother, father and mother on weekends and make it back for her job. She was excited about her career and really enjoyed her co-workers. I'm so sorry she had to leave us at a very young age. We will miss her dearly!

I am adding this on behalf of all of the Berkley Fire & Marine employees that worked with Tammy. We all are thinking of and praying for Tammy's family and friends and so sorry for you loss. We all here at BFM are grieving with you, we have lost a friend and an incredible co worker. Tammy was a bright and shinning part of our day, she would always be smiling and say something funny to make us laugh! Even if Tammy was super busy she would always stop and help anyone that asked and while helping you she would let you know that she valued you and that you mattered. We all valued her beautiful spirit and her awesome knowledge of the industry. Her passing has had a deep impact on the company as she as a person and co worked is irreplaceable. We have created a BFM Courage Award in honor of Tammy. She met each days challenges with courage and a positive spirit and we want to remember her for that as she was a wonderful example on how to embrace life and people with love and kindness. We will forever miss you Tammy, your BFM Family.

Tammy was kind and caring of others, so I know she will be greatly missed by those who knew her best and cherished her in their hearts; to you, I extend my deepest condolences. May today’s sadness turn to tomorrow's joy as we hope for a better future for all. Isaiah 26:19; Psalms 37:29

I have had the privilege of working with Tammy over the last several years. Tammy's smile, positive out lookout will be deeply missed. She always encouraged me and keep me looking on the bright side of things. Tammy was a one in a million type of person and her presence will be deeply missed on our weekly calls, and in the company. God Bless you Tammy and may you forever be at Peace.

My heart breaks for Tammy's family during this tragic and sad time. Tammy worked with me and our agency (H&W) when we were starting up a new property program. She was always helpful and smiling and bringing us treats. Very sweet, caring individual who will be missed. I pray for Peace and Comfort for Tammy's family and friends. Hugs!

My deepest condolences to Tammy’s family and friends. I had the privilege of knowing and working with Tammy at two companies. I will always be grateful for the leap of faith she took in coming to BFM and for all of her contributions over the many years. She was both a friend and coworker, a joy to be around. I was always fascinated by her free spirit whether it was her stories of underwater hockey or her many other adventures. I’m saddened and shocked to hear of her passing. She will be missed by all that knew her. My deepest sympathy and prayers for her and her family. John

I was shocked and saddened to hear today of Tammy’s death. We first got acquainted at a neighborhood bunko group when she lived in Shawnee. She also worked at the same insurance office where my husband worked so our paths crossed quite often. She lived her life with gusto and had such determination and fortitude to face some hard circumstances that came her way. I will always remember her sweet smile and spirit…sending love and prayers for her family, I know you will miss her dearly. ???
