I have so many fond memories of Uncle Hugh. He was the best story and joke teller I knew, and it was amazing to me how much he remembered. One visit Rick and I still laugh about is when Hugh took us sightseeing in Arkansas. I was sitting in the front seat between Aunt Mary and Uncle Hugh and he raced around all the turns and corners so fast. Rick, his mother and Kevin were in the back seat with their eyes closed. It was the scariest trip but also fun because there was always a story along with the tour. I will miss his southern gracious and charm. Our condolences to all the Irvins.

Hugh Irvin was a wonderful, kind, good man who will be missed by many. His presence always added that extra fun to any occasion! His great legacy is his wonderful children, Roger, David and Barbara. Sympathy to Mary and all you "kids."

What can be said about Uncle Hugh but that he is someone who will always be in my memories. He was a grand and polite southern gentleman who carried two handkerchiefs in case someone was in need of one. I only know that because he offered me one once. He was a quiet listener and an observer of people and situations. But he was truly in his element when he was telling a story and a reunion was not complete without his stories. Aunt Mary,Roger,David and Barb thinking of you all as you remember your husband and father today. May you find comfort knowing you lost someone very special who touched many hearts. Love to you all- Sue.
